This course is designed to support the effective use of the PPEP self-assessment tool and process to evaluate emergency preparedness across agrifood sectors. The course aims to provide guidance to staff from agrifood national authorities and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Country and Regional Offices involved in strengthening national agrifood emergency preparedness, on how to identify and prioritize capacity needs and develop targeted improvement plans, with support from FAO.
