The aim of this self-paced course is to improve the capacity of ruminant farmers to implement effective biosecurity on their farms by training veterinarians and other professionals on biosecurity for ruminants. The course covers biosecurity risks linked to animals, vehicles and people as well as cats, dogs, rodents and pests. Biosecurity of livestock markets, biosecurity assessment of farms and biosecurity of dairy, pasture-based, feedlot and small scale farms are also included.
