This course aims to develop the knowledge and skills that antimicrobial resistance (AMR) focal points need to submit surveillance questionnaire and validated data to the InFARM IT platform. The course is also available for national personnel that, not being AMR focal points, have a strong interest in AMR and InFARM. It should be studied as a continuation of the self-study course “InFARM essentials: An overview", available on the Virtual Learning Centers learning platform.
The course is delivered in a tutored format, allowing interaction with InFARM experts and other users of the system. It combines different training resources, namely two short interactive modules, six video tutorials to show how to navigate the InFARM platform, access to the InFARM training environment, live sessions and a discussion forum. It also includes an optional part to learn how to use WHONET.
