This course follows a blended approach, combining self-paced online modules with a workshop. Participants start with five hours of self-paced online modules on lifelong learning, the roles and responsibilities of veterinary paraprofessionals mentorship skills, providing feedback, and gender-sensitive communication. After the online study, mentors participate in a one-day workshop where they role-play mentoring scenarios and meet their mentees for the first time. Ongoing support is provided through regular online meetings with fellow mentors and tutors to address challenges and further develop mentoring skills.
