This course is designed to help current and future food systems innovators create or transform localized food systems based on farm landscape diversification through agroecology. It also empowers participants to become facilitators capable of leading further sustainable food system transformations within their communities. The course is based on the Enabling Sustainable Food Systems: Innovators Handbook, co-published by FAO and the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE).

Course structure
|

The course includes a series of live online workshops, which are essential for active participation and coursework completion. In addition, participants will engage in self-paced activities that must be completed before or after the live events. Throughout the course, participants have access to tutors and peers via the online discussion forum to ask questions, exchange ideas, and discuss course content together.
