This course aims to support veterinary paraprofessionals (VPPs) working in the private sector to enhance the sustainability and profitability of their businesses while supporting small-scale livestock farmers to implement preventive healthcare measures for improving productivity.
The course follows a blended learning approach, combining face-to-face training with mobile-first online learning for an intensive and in-depth experience.

Course structure
|
|
This blended learning course combines online learning with practical, field-based workshops. The online component includes self-paced interactive modules, regular live small-group training sessions, and practical, tutor-marked assignments, all designed for smartphone access in low-connectivity environments. Participants are paired with a mentor to help them apply the learnings to their own businesses.
The course consists of three units, each involving 30 hours of online learning and one or two face-to-face workshops. The online learning includes interactive self-paced modules, tutor-marked assignments, and live online training workshops.
