The FAO Virtual Learning Centers have launched the new self-paced virtual learning course on Peste des Petits Ruminants Monitoring and Assessment Tool (PMAT). The overall objective of the course is to increase awareness on the peste des petits ruminants (PPR) Global Control and Eradication Strategy (GCES) and further develop the capacity of veterinary services to correctly complete and interpret the PMAT tool. 

The primary audience of this course are members of the National Veterinary Services (including the Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO), PPR National Coordinator, National epidemiologists and the PPR Coordination Committee), and the Regional Advisory groups (RAGs). 

There are four short modules, each of approximately thirty minutes duration. You can study these at a time and place to suit you and use them as a ready-reference resource as needed. The course supports multiple platforms and can be studied on a smartphone, as well as on a computer or a tablet device.
