As early career professionals are often involved in the control of important animal diseases, the effective transfer of knowledge by more experienced senior officers plays a critical role in prevention, detection, and control of transboundary animal diseases (TADs). This training is designed to strengthen the skills of senior animal health officers in developing and delivering training materials related to TADs for new animal health officers and paraprofessionals working in the field. These skills are aimed towards increasing the capacity for post-border disease reporting and investigation.
