FAO through the Virtual Learning Centres (FAO VLC) partnered with the Kenya Veterinary Association (KVA), the Kenya Zoonotic Disease Unit (ZDU), Brooke East Africa, Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC), International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), National Hospital of Sri Lanka, Washington State University, Vet Trek, the University of Nairobi, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Organization for Animal Health to commemorate the 2023 World Rabies Day (WRD) celebration Virtually.

The theme for the 2023 WRD celebrations, "All for 1, One Health for All" was captured in a five-day webinar series that covered rabies disease under various thematic areas culminating to a panel discussion "Seven year to end Human Rabies deaths: Dream or reality" that featured distinguished guests as panelists.
